Himmler Presentation

At the beginning of the war in 1939 Richard Förster was already 60 years old and was no longer drafted into the Wehrmacht. In addition to Kärner, Förster was one of the most productive artists of the Allach porcelain manufactory, who was always available for design work until the end of the war.

In addition to the series of peasant figures, or traditional figures, as well as morisks and jugglers, Förster modeled the series of military foot figurines as a supplement to the cavalry figurines by Prof. Theodor Kärner. Since these figurines were only produced in the war years, it can be assumed that they only appeared in small editions and are therefore among the rarest.
